Is this even possible? My cat loves to nibble on my tea plant, my lucky bamboo plant, and one other one (not sure what kind it is). Any suggestions, or do I just learn to live with chunks and bite marks out of my plants? One of them was almost killed by the nibbling and has been moved to the bedroom where the cat is not allowed to go.

I have only fake plants in the house <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> . TONS of plants outside though. Maybe if you got them a catnip plant they'd just stick to eating that one <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> .

Good question, mine chew on my lucky bamboo plant also. And drink its water <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/shrug.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="shrug"> They have taken it to the brink of death and I have nursed it back again. I use cayenne pepper on cables and stuff outside so the dog doesn't chew them. But how to keep it on the leaves and stems? Hmmm...

I got mine at Lowe's...it was in the herb section. Something like $2.39. Of course, I planted mine outside. All the neighbor's cats enjoyed it <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> .
