My cats have fleas. It isn't too bad yet... took my sister and I a good five minutes before we found one on my stark white kitty. I would use frontline, but I hear it's expensive.<br><br>
Can I do the dish soap thing or is it a bad idea for some reason?

Don't use dish soap. You would be much better off wetting the cat down with plain water and flea combing. Frontline is a good investment for controlling fleas. Now that you have spotted fleas on your cat, watch for tapeworm segments in the stool and deworm if necessary.<br><br>

I can't afford frontline unless I borrow. I *will* if I have to, but I wanted to look into alternatives first. Poor kitties. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad">
