Is anyone having really mucousy discharge? I remember being extra "juicy" (my mw's word, not mine ) when pregnant with ds. But this was more of a snot consistency. (So sorry - can't think of a better way to describe it) And it was just for a short time this afternoon. To really get specific it reminded me a little of the consistency of my mucous plug just more stringy - thus my concern. Anyone?

ps This is me : posting this question.

I've been getting lots of that too....I think it has to do with the actual formation of the mucus plug if I recall? No need for concern unless there's blood accompanied I think.

Thanks! That is reassuring. You would think I would remember if it happened when I was pregnant with ds but I don't.

I've been really "juicy" to the point of wearing a pantyliner everyday, and some days an actual pad. The smelly is little musty but I figured I would talk to my doc about it when I go next week.

I thought it was just me and that I might need to douche but I hear that's not good to do.

Yeah I was a two panty a day girl when I was pregnant with my son but I remember that being later in pregnancy. And this mroe about the specific consistency of what is coming out. It was so substantial it was a little alarming.
I never recommend douching I think it causes more problems that it helps but that's just my .02.

I'm having that kind of thick, stringy discharge constantly. It's gross, but knowing it's normal and part of the mucous plug formation helps me relax about it.
