So I'm seeing that some of you use dishwashing soap when you wash diapers??

Do any of you do this with the front loader? Would Dove dishwashing soap work?

I don't have a front loader but I have used a tsp of dish soap in a pinch when washing dipes. Very fresh with only 1 rinse.

Now...don't ask me about the time I tried that with my dishwasher....

I don't think Dove would be a good choice because I think it might have some sort of moisturizers that might cause problems.

I don't have a front loader either, but when my fleece starts feeling a bit sticky/repelling I wash all my dipes with a squirt of Dawn instead of laundry detergent. I make sure there are no bubbles in the rinse. It works like a charm on fixing repelling fleece on my Fuzzi Bunz and it seems I only have to do it about once a month.

I've used Dawn when breaking in new hemp diapers or new ipfs or ubcpfs. It seems to break down the natural oils faster than laundry detergent.

I use a TBSP per load of ultra palmolive. That's all. Ever. Minimal staining, no stink, no repelling.

Hmm..I tried this and I had suds forever (rinse after rinse after rinse)--it was horrible and I used a tsp. of dawn. So, try a little if you decide to try it (obviously, it works for some people--I have hard water so I don't know if that was the problem but yikes!)

Ive used dawn and joy(with citrus extract, LOL) the joy didnt work, the dawn did, dawn is most recommended
