I just rec'd some new bumpy covers and wondered if they need to be pre washed before putting them on a newborn. I am thinking sizing in the wool and sensitive skin issues...

Yes, Yes, Yes! If you have a heavy wetter it may also need to be agitated a bit agressively (by hand just to be safe) and heavily lanolozed as well.<br><br>
My bumpy wool was not fully functional for several weeks, I ultimately had to hand wash it in warner than reccomended water to get it to full-up a bit more.
