Hep A is on the schedule for my lil guy. I'll come back tomarrow and let you know if there was anything else they try to push on me (my doc is great, but some of his nurses really just do not get non-vax or select/delayed vax which is what we are.)

Science Mom and Long Island...thanks for the replies and the corrections. Two less package inserts to print out.

I was surprised to see only one option for IPV (Ipol). No other manufacturers want to make money on that one?? What's up with that?

Put your feet up...make a cup of hot tea or something, and read this.

http://www.mothering.com/discussions...1&postcount=33

Ipol is the same exact vaccine. If you check out the package insert, original Salk clinical trials are listed for the effectiveness figures. Although I'm sure they've fixed the "live virus" issues now. (the have irradiation now which is very effective).
But there were other problems that I'm not sure were ever addressed.

Mamakay's prediction for the future: The US will move back to the Sabin vaccine within 15 years. And polio will be absolutely endemic before anyone even notices there's a problem.
