The form to go to school without vaccines...it needs to be signed by a *commissioner* is that a lawyer? Also does the lawyer have to agree with the decision or just be paid?

A commissioner is not a lawyer. No state has to have an exemption signed by a lawyer, in fact, they would probably get denied if it was religious.

What state are you in? Some states have an exemption paper that has to be signed by the health department or an approval from the school principal, board, etc.

Here you have to get the paper noterized but that is done by any notery. Some charge for it some do not. Mine did not charge.

We'd need to know your state to figure out the requirements but you do not need ANYONEs signature to submit a philo or religious exemption (though some state require notarization (official witness); you can get that done at your bank).

Ah, well, maybe you could add something to the thread title (go advanced) to attract the attention of Canadians; you can also check the flag smiley at the bottom of your original post.
