I'm washing diapers like crazy today (just got a bunch of new UBCPFs) and I am wondering... do I need to go crazy washing the doublers I ordered, too?

I got Kissaluvs boosters and doublers (I think that is what they are called...) that are fleece on one side and terry on the other, not exactly sure how many layers in betwee, but the doublers are bigger and have more layers...

Do I need to break these in, too, or will a regular wash to take the newness off do?

Also, somewhat off topic... I got 3 dozen infant prefolds... but I am only washing 2 dozen of them... I have this fear maybe 3 dozen was too many? I am wondering if I should return them and get 1 dozen premiums instead. I keep seeing conflicting things about CPF recomendations for a newborn. Some places say 3 dozen. Some places say 2 dozen and 1 dozen premiums. Any thoughts on this?

I just can't get over how little these things are... Are they really gonna fit my baby for long?

I have sooooo little experience with children...

I don't know about the doublers, but I can assure you that you'd better keep all the 36 prefolds.
I never CD a newborn, but I remember I had to change the DD VERY often!! I began CD when my youngest was 3 months, and I could not do with less than 24, even though he did not need as many changes as when he was NB.
Besdies, you will be very tired once your baby is born, so I it is nice to have many diapers in case you cannot do laundry as often as you wish.

Thanks for answering, guess I've got more washing to do.

I guess I should have asked this question BEFORE I started, heh... Oh well, 24 infant and 9 preemie prefolds has the washer pretty full as it is...
