It's enough for us...but dd is 2 and usually only pee's once anight, if at all. As long as the diaper you have under is absorbant enough, wool is great. I couldn't put my dd in pul or nylon overnight. It's 12 hours for her, and that's just too long in those other fabrics. I want her skin to breathe, even if it means that I have to change her midway through the night.
the first soaker and longies I did were from Lion brand Fisherman's wool! I wanted to try it out before I invested in "nicer" yarn. I agree with the previous poster, if the dipe underneath is sturdy enough (so that in the AM the dipe outside is dampish but not SOAKED) you should be fine.

My guy is a big pee-er at night, and we do wool at night full time now. He just wears a giant diaper underneath.

Try it, what can you lose except having to wash the next morning.

We love our wool and his skin being able to breathe.

Congrats on your first wool project. I got addicted once I started making them.
