this morning i was watching how i met your mother i don't normally watch tv shows much in fact our television has no antenna on it and we don't get cable we use it for movies and video games but it is my partners birthday and i wanted to let him sleep in so i was watching streaming tv shows online. anyhow i found something really funny and i spent about ten minutes laughing so hard. the last time i laughed like that i think i was 9 or 10. i woke my partner up and had to explain what was so fun but i was laughing and crying from laughing and could hardly breath so it was hard to explain. anyhow it felt pretty good i normally don't laugh out loud i am one of those people who smiles when i find something funny and rarely laughs out loud at all. it felt so out of character i am wondering it is related to pregnancy hormones or something? i guess i hope it is unrelated and i will keep finding things so funny i can't stop laughing.

I think it is totally possible that pregnancy hormones are causing it. I am also the type of person who doesn't really laugh a lot, or even smile. Hey, it's just my personality.
My DH has said more than once that since I have been pregnant, I smile and laugh much more often. I hope it continues after birth!

Pregnancy hormones make me both more prone to crying AND to laughing. Just like I can cry at the drop of a hat these days, I will also end up laughing hilariously and uncontrollably at things that are funny, but not THAT funny.

Gets that whole bowl-full-of-jelly thing going with the belly, too...which usually makes me laugh even harder...

I was completely giggly with both of my pregnancies. You know, the kind of laughing that you cant stop......especially in inappropriate situations. I would crack up laughing by myself.... one time I went to the grocery store alone and I thought of something funny from earlier that day- I just couldn't quit laughing. I had to leave my cart in the isle and go home. I couldn't compose myself enough to go through the check out, well that, and I thought I was going to pee myself.
