I'd love to start a soaker stash (hoping for bambino in 2006 - lots going on that needs settled before he/she comes along) but have had sensitive skin problems with wool in the past (both wearing it and trying to knit it). Where's the itchy smilie?

Any tips?

Thanks - you're all pals!

but remember acrylic is basically plastic (in short) so it will only repell moisture not absorb it like wool. I have heard many say their acrylic soakers can get stinky too.
I have never tried acrylic on my kids but i have used wool/acrylic blends.
I have one that i really like on him, i love that it can be washed (habit of shrinking soakers) and dryed but i find he has wicked compression wicking.(and hes a lite wetter)
I guess go ahead and give one a shot, you never know! Somethings that are not good for the gose are perfect for the gander!
