I'm trying wool liners at night, but wondering, do they need to be lanolized like wool covers? And do they need to be hand/gentle washed in Eucalan, or just with the dipes?

Thanks!!

They do not need to be lanolized or hand washed. Throw them in the washer and dryer and they will felt, making them nearly permanenly water resistant. You COULD lanolize them if you wanted or if they weren't performing. I felted mine, and they've been through the regular wash cycle probably 20 times with my diapers. I've never lanolized, and they work great.

My suggestion is to wash and dry the sweater on hot/high before cutting it to make the liners, that way they are already
shrunk/felted and the additional shrinkage should be minimal! ~

edited to fix spelling...too early~
