I never did because it really never seemed like there was any rhyme or reason to this eczema insanity we are experiencing, but I am going to now.
I am going to be SO descriptive about it and really hope to God that I discover something sometime soon.
I started yesterday and am putting down what he and I ate along with what meds/supplements he took and how his skin looked throughout the day.

Wish me luck

Good luck! It's definitely a chore to record all this info but so worth it if it can help you figure some things out. Some people go so far as to record such things as scents, fabrics, etc. that your LO comes into contact with. So...if you're at the mall and happen to pass by a sickening smell of perfume as someone is trying to hand you a sample...any scented lotions that are used in the house...any contact with synthetic fabric...My DD never had eczema as a symptom so I didn't need to do this but some people have found it helpful I think. I know one mama on here recently realized her LO was reacting to the material on the carseat. Again, good luck!

Yep, I mentioned that in your other thread, but it has been an invaluable tool for us.

I think it really helps when you think all the foods you are eating are safe. And then your LO has a reaction, and then has a reaction again a week later. It makes it easier to go back and see exactly what you ate that day and compare it to what you had a week ago to see if there were any foods the same. (I can never remember what I ate a week ago) I made a lot of surprising discoveries that way.

Yup. I have two versions of the spreadsheet for my DD. With all food eaten, amount of drink consumed, all symptoms (including naps and sleep times), etc. It was INVALUABLE!!

nak
I haven't done one in a long time but was thinking of doing one again myself.
It's how I originally suspected dairy (took out whey powder) and definitely removed colorings.
