This past weekend I was riding in the back seat nursing my 21month old during a long car ride. He was rear facing and I was leaning over him. A man on a motorcycle rode up beside up he looked in and saw I was nursing. WOW he mouthed then rode off nodding his head. His expression was priceless. It still makes me laugh thinking about it.

Oh, I LOVE it! That's a great story. I've only car seat nursed a couple times, it is just so dang uncomfortable. But I have wondered if anyone else on the highway is noticing me!<br><br>
Here's my story....<br><br>
This weekend my sister and I took DD to a great organic dairy farm (so cool) DD got to stand right up close to the cows. At point I showed DD all the milk jugs waiting to be filled. I said to DD: "Look, there are all the milk jugs, all going to be full of milk from the cows. The cows have dee dee (her word for it) and it all goes here." And she thought carefully about the cows and their dee dee and then with a big smile said: "Just like Mommy!"

Love the stories and can't wait to read more. Here's my little tidbit: DD is just really starting to explore language and for the past couple of months one of her favourite words has been "hot." So one day we are settling into our comfy chair for a nice nurse and she puts her arm around me, looks up at my boob and says, "Hot?" It cracked me up. I said, "No Love, just right!"

my dd doesnt talk yet, but she does show me and my dh that she likes to share mommies milk, but pulling my head down to my breast and shoving it in my face while she smiles, and also bringing daddy down the hall to find me, where she gently leads his to my breast to nurse <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> the best part is if he pretends, she smushes his entire face with her hand and pushes him off the bed.<br><br>
but the funniest thing she just started doing was licking her lips when i change!! not just a little lick, but she gets down by her chin, back to her top lip, and just stares <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/loveeyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Loveeyes">:<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

I nursed DDs (twins) until they were almost 3, so when I became pg with DS, they asked, "Mama, does this mean you're going to be open again?" (ie: mama is open for eating!) They were so cute and honest! Even now, they keep asking, can we just taste a little? I think with I start expressing to mix with his avocado and sweet potato when he starts solids, I may give them in a cup. Isn't it delightfully sweet! (though, DH still won't try it!) LOL!<br><br>

The stories are so funny! This mornings <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> gave me something to add<br><br>
I always let my ds play in the floor of the bathroom when I shower. When I got out of the shower I bent over to wrap a towel around my hair. The next thing I know my ds was grabbing me while he was laughing and latched on so fast that I was still bent over. So that was a first for us mommy upside down<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">
