My husband has one that says "It's never ok to hit a child." I can't remember where he got it, but we love it. It has sparked some interesting conversations, mostly with his family. For example, my FIL saw it and immediately launched into this lecture about how that's a great principle and all but there are times when you HAVE to spank, such as if ds runs out into the street. I can't count the number of times people have told me that I will have to spank DS if he runs out into the street -- as if there is really NO OTHER WAY to prevent a child from doing this? Anyone else get why people think this? so weird. But, I digress. Sorry to the OP!

I just don't get that argument. I mean, if you're close enough to spank him, you're close enough to pull him off the street. Sheesh.
