as my stash grows, i'm having a harder time remembering what doublers and soakers go with what diaper! sometimes the colors are close enough that it's hard to remember. do you bother to match them? or do you just grab a diaper and a soaker or doubler and throw it all togehter?

I have a huge stash and still match every soaker and doubler up to it's original diaper. Needless to say it takes me a long time to fold diapers but I love doing it. I get to spend a little time with each diaper as I match it up and fold it.

Yeah, I still do. Dh doesn't, he just sticks any old doubler in a diaper or aio shell. That's why I have to get the diapers sorted and put away before he changes the baby......if they're just dumped in a pile, he totally ruins my system LOL.

Don't you just HATE that? my DH will do that and then I am totally anal and have to re-wash that/those diapers right away so the 'real' parts aren't sitting there all alone....LOL darn DH's trying to help out!

I don't. But I made a lot of unmatching stuff myself, from used materials that were sitting around the house (like towel doublers).

Come to think of it, I don't really have any matching stuff, just 2 dipes with doublers made Sybil

Funny you should bring this up ... last night I washed all my diapers (future baby stash) and i was trying to figure out what goes with what and it took me about 30 minutes to match everything up. I was wondering if i would ever get the hang of what goes with what and which diapers snaps which way ... lol ..

Its one of my favorite rituals. There is nothing better than sitting down on the soft, the babies are asleep, with my big basket of clean dipes laying everything out, putting it all together..i just have an uncanny ability to remember what goes with what! (i cant however remember to take food out for dinner...but diapers..ahh that i can remember!)

I love my nightly diaper laundry ritual..its very theraputic!

I am most definitely a matcher and I haven't been cd'ing very long. I
to sit down with a warm pile of diapers and doublers and match, snap and fold. THEN I take them to my baby girl's changing table and put them all in their place. My Dh says it must help satisfy my bent toward obsessive compulsive behavior.
I think he's right because I do find the activity to be highly satisfying.
I admit I'm still learning to remember which goes with what, but I'm perfectly happy with the process.

I don't like to think about the time when I won't have my baby's doublers to match up and diapers to fold and put away.
Guess I'll have to cd my grandbabies *someday*...

Things like sugarpeas fitteds I do but we have a lot of cricketts that we don't use the toddler doubler for. We also have a lot of fuzzi bunz.... Get my drift?

Our FB's are stuffed with Joey Bunz, Crickett's doublers, GG doublers, kissaluv boosters, etc!!!

Oh man, I am extremely anal about this. Whenever I order dipes, I alway order matching doublers. All of my SOS have cute doublers to match. Occasionally dh has tried to help fold and put away dipes and while he tries to match up he does not always get it right. There may be a Sugarpeas without a soaker or something. If this happens, I take all the pieces and hide them until laundry is done and they can be matched properly. Even my 8yo can match dipes and doublers just about perfectly.
