I was just wondering which people prefer and why. I think I like front snapping diapers better because DS's pants fit better over them.

I like side snapping diapers because I like my diapers to have a high rise. I have found that most front snapping diapers are low rise.

When ds was a prewalker I liked front snapping diapers. Now that he runs everywhere and has thinned out I get a much better fit with a side snapping dipe. I like that I can adjust the leg and waist snaps independantly. I don't have to worry about wing droop either.

Right now, I prefer front snap, not sure why, just seem to fit better on him.

I think I get a bitter fit over chunky thighs with front-snapping dipes.

hehe, I guess I am minority here. LOL I love nothing more than a prefold snappi'd with a wool soaker, or I like trifolded in a wool or fleece wrap that closes in the front. However, now that i am trying to potty train, I like side snapping trainers. LOL

I am also in the camp of liking front snapping till about a year (when they start to walk) then prefering side snapping...though there is something very special about a snappied prefold too LOL!

I use both on my girls and they both fit well, depending on the brand. That being said, I like front snapping better but my reason is pathetic. I like the way they look folded in the diaper basket better than side snap ones.

ok, I like fs becuz........I like to oversnap the front panel, so the dipes are on the smallest setting...though lately I have been slipping and just snapping one snap on each side just to get it done with! forgive me! :LOL
I also like fs because dd is small and it is easier to put on her....but when she starts walking I'll be sure to note the differences

I didn't vote because I like and use both. Each has their own pros and cons and I could never pick one of over the other.

:LOL me too. They look so cute when they are snapped up so tiny. DS is so huge, so there is nothing "tiny" about his diapes!

I was just going to pose this very question. So far we only have front and I like them. But dd has huge thighs and I wondered which would fit her better....

I prefer front-snappers....SOS to be exact.

They're easiest for me to get on my little one, and I don't have to roll him from one side to the other to get side snaps done.

I prefer side snaps cause I feel i get a better fit... however I have found myself reaching for my new favorite front snap more than my side snaps lately, lol
