I know I asked this question before I had a baby--I want to revisit it, because I've been thinking about it more lately.

I've decided that I, personally, prefer snaps.

HOWEVER, everyone else who changes her prefers Velcro...and I prefer to NOT be the only one changing her, so...

...it's a draw!

Always bugs me when I like multiple things equally.

It just depends for me. I love Bummis SWW with velcro but don't care for them with snaps. Overall I probably like velcro a little better for quickness and more adjustable fit, especially when we're talking pul covers. But.. I do love my Motherease Airflows and Loveybums covers, both of which have snaps. Guess that's not a very decisive answer...

SNAPS!!! Got my snap press recently from the snap store and it is awesome. There are some snap diapers I've tried that I didn't like, but if the snaps are applied in the right configuration they are super adjustable and so much nicer than hook and loop. No diaper chains, no snagging, no staining, no curling, no picking out fuzzy lint. Love them snaps!

It depends for me too..lol.

For fitted diapers, I like them to all be side-snapped, unless it's NB. The only covers I like to have velcro are Bummis and Red Earth Diapers covers, and I can't have front snapping covers.

I really, really like the one All Together Deluxe diaper I own, because I can let her run around in nothing but a diaper with no worries about snags or leaks, and I can drop it into the diaper pail without worries about foldback tabs, etc. But I don't want to buy more, because I can't justify an AIO purchase unless it's for someone other than me to use, in which case it should be Velcro. Also I'm continually terrified of germs since it's internal soaker, but I've had no problems with it so far, washing on hot and drying in the sun.

ANYWAY....

SNAPS hands down.

I hate how velcro comes undone, gets snagged on clothing, makes snakes in the washer or dryer, is too easy for little hands to undo, etc.

I am just the opposite. My little wiggleworm is the exact same age as yours and I find that I cannot get velcros straight on her because she is squirming away. The velcro will be all bunchy or one side will be a lot tighter than the other, or the worst, the diaper will be higher in the front than in the back and then cut into her little tummy. With snaps she can be crawling away from me and I can still get the same fit every time.

Snaps!

All my diapers are velcro and I actually have trained myself to refasten them before putting them in the pail or the wash. I can always tell when I haven't changed a diaper because there's a diaper snake in the dryer as a result.

I have both velcro and snap covers and much prefer the snap ones. The velcro ones have to be de-linted and my munchkin has recently figured out how to pull them open by herself. She can't undo the snap ones though.

It's a toss up.

I like velcro because it's faster, anyone can change him, more adjustable.

I like snaps because he can't take off his own diaper.

I think they both have their advantages and I like them equally as well. Snaps are harder for Mia to take off and I like how they won't come undone as easily as velcro. Plus, Mia knows how to undo velcro now. I like how much faster velcro is though and how it's more adjustable than snaps.
