I have heard that some seeds like cukes, beans, peas, and pumpkins can be soaked in water overnight put on a damp paper towel and wrapped loosley in a plastic bag and put in a warm spot to get them to sprout quicker before putting them in the ground. Have any of you tried this method? Kamie

I soaked my cucumber and pumpkin seeds last year before I sowed them in the ground. They did come up unbelievably fast.
