I made a huge batch of caramel popcorn and i want to send some to my dh in georgia, we are in arizona. I mailed him some homemade pb cookies and it took over a week to get there. He said they were still fresh and chewy. Do you think the popcorn would travel well in a sealed container? I don't want dh to receive it stale.

If it's in a tightly sealed container it should be fine. Unless it's extremely humid carmel corn lasts a long time. My mom makes it for Christmas every year and it keeps for weeks.

I'm sure it would if it gets to that point of packaged up. In my house, we usually gobble up caramel popcorn.

This reminds me of this great caramel popcorn in downtown Chicago- Garrets. DH and I always get some when we walk by it if we do when we are down there. We always buy "some for later" or for whomever. Usually by the time we get to the car, one bag is gone and by the time we get home, the other bag is gone too.
