So do you? Is that gross or unsanitary?

I do it. I also use my prefolds as burp cloths. I figure they are as clean as they need be and they are already wet and right there. :LOL

It's not unsanitary, they've all been thoroughly washed

and there's nothing gross about it IMO. We're an all cloth house, any scrap of cloth can get used to wipe a kiddo face around here lol

I do, I figure that they get plenty clean, else I wouldn't use them on their bottom either. I also like using them to wipe runny noses, so much softer & stronger than a tissue

We do! They've been cleaned as well as the diapers ... they get used on hands, faces, spilled milk, dumped over dog water bowl spills ... then thrown in the pail and washed again.

Oh goodie, I thought I was the only one. I use anything cloth over here too. I wash in hot water so I figure it's as clean as it's going to get.

we do it. we use cloth for everything and i absolutely do not have the time to sort what goes for faces and what goes for hineys. so far no deathly bacterial infections here.....

We do. I use them anywhere and everywhere on the kiddos and me. I use them to wash my face with all the time.

Oh yeah. Faces, noses, hands, feet, legs... use them as washcloths... and a wet one is a WONDERFUL toy and chewy...

I use them on both kids' faces all the time (and mine too). They're just as clean as washcloths or anything else - they've gone through the wash

i did this the other day too, and was trying to decide if it was gross.

my conclusion was that i use the same washrags to wash my face that we use to wash er...all of our other parts in the tub. essentially the same, right?

they've been through the wash, they're fine.

We must have a zillion hemp washcloths - and others as well. We just grab a clean pile and keep them in the kitchen to wipe faces when necessary. If they're clean enough to wipe my little one's bumz they're clean enough to wipe their faces!

We use 'em for cleaning faces tho I have gone through and kind of separated them. I keep a batch in the kitchen in a basket for sticky fingers and such and those usually get washed with towels and our cloth napkins. THe rest are in the bedroom and get tossed into the diaper pail with the dipes. So in essence they don't really *mingle*. Today I did use a bum wipe to wipe S's nose...only thing I had handy and it was clean.

I dont wipe their faces with them *after* I have wiped their butts. LOL

Yes, I use wipes for everything, I figure they are washed well, they are clean.
I have a big basket of wipes on the bathroom counter and the kids grab them to wah their faces and hands all the time. Even i do when I need a washrag.
