So far I have only made HBs with a basic fleece you can buy at Joan's or Hancock's. I don't even think it's really heavy weight. It's the thickest they had, but I don't have any MM fleece to compare it with.

My question is - is it gonna work? Most AIOs and covers are recommended to be made from MM fleece.

I don't have a baby to test my diapers on so I really don't wanna make dozens of diapers and then find out they will all leak through.

Thanks!!

I've heard that the fabric at Joann's will work ok. I haven't tried it yet, but I plan on picking up a yard and trying it. I also have some Windpro I haven't tried yet. I have some cheap fleece I got at a local fabric store and I used it to make a cover. It works decently. I wouldn't use it for overnight, but it's good for daytime use.

I have only used Joanns antipill and alpine and it works fine for dd- it does have compression wicking if you leave babe in it too long and they're in the exersaucer or carseat or sling or something. If it wicks, you can throw it in the dryer with a dryer sheet- that will help.

I haven't tried any other kind.
For my wahm business, I sent a bunch out to be tested and I've only got one response so far, but she said it compression wicked badly...
