behind my son's ears gets really dry ( i think )<br><br>
like, to the point that it looks painful...<br><br>
i think it's from him spitting up, but i'm not sure.<br><br>
i'm not even really sure if it's dry skin.<br><br>
anyone else's little one experiencing this?

you mean that dry, crusty behind the ear gunk? Both my kids have/had that. I just wash gently there...DS eventually outgrew getting it, DD probably will too.

Does he have cradle cap? My sons both do, and they get the ear thing too. I'm pretty sure theirs is cradle cap.

dd has that too. something that's worked great for us is dabbing a little oil on the area (sesame, olive, etc) and letting it sit for 10 minutes or so to soften; then wipe gently with a damp, warm washcloth.

Yes! Oh, I felt like such a bad mom when I felt it, that I'd never noticed it before. Ben doesn't have cc, but he does have the ear thing. It does feel exactly like cc, though, so I'm also going to treat it with some dabs of olive oil and rub it gently with a washcloth.
