I figured since April is a WAHM, diapering mamas would know first. I know this is OT a little, but I am wondering if anyone has any news on Baby Levi? It has been days since there has been an update. He has been on my mind every day. Does anyone know how he is doing?

They're home and he's doing very well!
This is what April posted tonight...

I'm so sorry I didn't thank each and every individual for all the gifts. They are all so beautiful and special in everyway.

I thank you for the shirts, dresses, playthings, homemade soaps, beautiful blankets and the list goes on. I just want everyone to know I have seen and played with them all! Every card, every donation has me amazed and grateful for this wonderful loving world of people. I can never ever thank you enough.

Update: Livie's potty trained.

I just got the most beautiful butterfly kisses dipe too right before this all started. So packing away her dipes.

DH is thrilled and I told him "You'll never understand." He says "I understand that I don't have to dump anymore logs into the toilet!"

She's also doing well w/ her forced weaning. That of course breaks my heart but there's not much I can do. It's just too hard to nurse her w/ Levi needing so much attention. Of course it helped we were apart for 3 long weeks but she still asks. Today she did pretty good. Once I asked her who the booboos were for and she said "Bebi!! BOO BOO BEBI!!"

Levi's acting like normal, happy 9 week old. He's content to lay around watching his world. Loves to be held. Loves to smile and coo. he's a totally different baby. I'm so thankful he's alive and well! We went to the doc today because he had a rash/allergic reaction and his hands/feet were gray but all is well. Had his bandage on his central line changed. He weighs 9 lb 9 oz which is exactly what he weighed 3 weeks ago. I'm hoping he chunks up! He's still the size of a newborn. 0-3 clothing is big on him!

Wow. Good news. Does this mean he will be okay for a long time? Or just a while? I have been praying for God to send them a miracle. I hope he did.

Oh and I'd get Levi a Kiwi Cashmere cover with a big L appliqued on the bottom.

From what I understand (I have been reading his updates all along), they removed the tumor in his head. It turned out to not be what they thought it was. I think it was some sort of bone tumor instead? (Someone correct me if I am wrong...) It was actually next to his skull, I believe, rather than in his brain. So had they listened to the first doctors, they would have brought him home and he likely would have died. It really is a miracle that now he will be a happy and healthy little boy!
