It always makes this smell so clean. I just wondered if it was safe for hemp.<br>
What about ALL as well.

ME! I have used it for the 2.5 years that I've been cloth diapering. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> I love it! A lot of people comment on how wonderful my diapers smell when I sell them. :LOL I'm sure it's fine for hemp. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> I've never tried ALL, though. I'm pretty sure all of the regular detergents work just as well.

I always use Gain for my dipes. I have lots of hemp, and no problems so far. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

gain does smell good!! i love reg. tide too. esp. with downy advanced (which we use occasionally) gain's always made my skin itch, though, and my dd has mild excema, so i'd be scared to try it for her, esp. for dipes! we alternate b/n regular cheer and all free. ive heard that you're not supposed to use free detergents, but we've not noticed any buildup or leaking or anything. the all works really well for hemp too.

I use Gain for my dipes.<br><br>
I started using it when Hurricane Isabel knocked my electricity out for 8 days and I did my laundry at a friends house and they had Gain (I didn't bring my own detergent). My dipes seemed like they came out so much cleaner so I went and got some next time I went grocery shopping.

I use Gain all the time. I experimented with other detergents and had problems, but they resolved when I switched back to Gain. I think a lot depends on what type of water you have.
