I put a little on her butt to freshen her up and she had glue when I changed her. Yuck.
Why do I do these stupid things?

I use a little powder~~I have about 5 kinds but the only one that I have had a problem with is Burts Bee. It has stained some of our diapers. I have never had glue though!!! :LOL

We use talk free poweder by Johnson and Johnson I think it is cornstarch based. I never put too much on when I use it and I don't have a problem but when DH puts it on it is like he uses half of the container.

We don't use powder. IMO it's essentially useless once it gets wet.

That reminds me of the friends episode where Ross wears leather pants and after using the bathroom is too sweaty to get them up and Joey tells him to put powder on them and it makes a glue!! :
Anyone see that one?? :

We don't use powder either but one of the kids I watch her mom likes me to put powder in her diaper so I do, don't really notice a difference.

I love that episode! I love when he mixes it with lotion and then smacks himself in the head. :

My baby sweats a lot, and although her diapers are lined with suedecloth and/or fleece, it helps to keep her comfortable and rash free.

I found then once I started with the powder, I no longer had to use the creams. Kinda like prevention.

Also my 2 year old likes to help with diaper changes, and powdering is something safe for her to do.

We use CORN STARCH!!! LOL, I had a travel size bottle of J&J and I opened it, emptied it and filled it with corn starch. I use it when he wets a lot and his skin feels wet. I also like to put it on before he has a dirty because it is easier to clean off the poo so I dont feel like I have to wipe hard.

It is also a lot cheaper and healthier than regular powder, LOL
