Hi! Is anyone around Chicago looking to add a very sweet little kitty to your family?
We have a wonderful 2 year old black (With white on the chest) female cat who we aren't going to be able to keep. I don't really want to take her back to the shelter....I'd rather find her a good home.
She is amazingly sweet. She loves to cuddle. She has never scratched us or been rough. All she wants to do is curl up on your lap. She has been wonderful with my two year old. Never ending patience. She loves to come by him and lets him pet her and even drive his trucks on her!
She uses the litter box with no problems and is very easy going. She uses the scratching post. She is actually my idea of the perfect cat.
The reason that we have to get rid of her is that my two year old actually will not tolerate her and it is making life very stressful. She gives no reason for him to do this (she is actually very sweet to him)...it's just his personality. He can't stand to have her by him. And we have just found out that we are expecting another baby and I don't think I can handle everything at the same time.
I'm sad that this situation didn't work out for our family. She is a lovely cat and would be good for any family or single person. A family with kids would be fabulous as well.
Let me now- we'll probably try to find a family for a few days before we have to take her to the shelter. Thanks!
