I just got a bamboo diaper and although it should be the right size for DS, the fit is terrible. Its huge on him.
Does it shrink? I just washed it once...

I would email the WAHM you got it from and ask

Most WAHMs prewash their fabric so it doesnt shrink after its sewn, but some do not.

ok. Its being tortured right now in scalding water followed by a long hot tumble in the dryer, lol. I really hope it shrinks--I spent ALOT on it.

Hope you don't mind me asking...but where did you get a bamboo dipe? I bought a *******'s Pant AIO the other day and she sent a bamboo insert with it (very trim and thin)...I was thinking it would leak right away but it did great....I didn't know they made bamboo dipes though?

Hope it shrinks for you! If not...at least it WILL fit your baby eventually...I know...not what you want to hear since you paid a lot for it NOW...

Its from momufactured designs. The funny thing is that I dont think it will EVER fit him. Hes 20 mos now, and its huge on him. He'd likely PL before it fits. DARN!

Well, that's too bad! I'm sure it's hard to buy something that cost a good bit and have to swallow that....maybe the seller would take it back (usually won't once you wash it though) or maybe you could sell it as washed once but never used somewhere and then order a smaller one? Thanks for telling me where you got it! I'll remember that they run large....my little guy is 5 months but he's a skinny little thing!

Hers are pre-shrunk. The size measurements are listed in the description to ensure a proper fit. If your baby is within these measurements, I'd email the wahm. Her medium/large size is pretty big (from what the description reads- up to 35+ lbs), did you get the small/medium size?

I got the m/l size and yeah its very big.

The wahm did pm me, so that was very nice of her. I know its my fault for washing it so I dont blame her if she doesnt want to take it back. I just hate trying to figure out if stuff will/wont fit! I guess its all trial and error.
It is a beautiful diaper, just runs very very large I think.
