I don't know what to think, just holding on til my dr. appt tomorrow morning (have to have my PCP confirm pg in order to monitor my thyroid function and dosage properly).

Yesterday, I had no symptoms. Felt great.

Today, so far, I am trying not to panic, because even the smell of egg, which made me sick 2 days ago, no longer bothers me. Aside from being slightly crampy, I have no signs of pregnancy now, and am refusing, for my sanity, to take another HPT. I will wait to see one way or the other, til tomorrow's appt.

Someone said that they heard that nursing can often reduce or prevent morning sickness. Anyone else heard of that or experienced it? I didn't when I was pg with #2, and had to wean #1 at 2.5 yo because I couldn't handle the pain and aversion.
Had an early aversion this time, before I knew I was pg, and then it went away.

Hoping that all my symptoms will either come back, or else that them going away isn't necessarily a bad sign...

sorry that you are having these worries. In my experience nursing did not eliminate symptons BUT I also have found symptons or lack there of to be rather subjective. I had a m/c at 12.5 wks and was sick as a dog the entire time (actually got sicker and sicker as the pregnancy progressed) and I have had pg's where my semptoms came and went (of course those were after my m/c's and that drove me absolutely insane)
I hope everything goes well for you and that your dr appt brings you peace.

I don't know - I had HG last pregnancy and vomited for 26 weeks. I had every symptom, sore boobs, cramps, peeing a lot, heartburn. All the symptoms were either before or the day after I got my BFP. I felt like I had the flu the whole week before and the day I took my test I started vomiting.

I am nursing a 3 year old now, and I have barely any symptoms. Some acne, peeing a lot, that's about it. I get a little heartburn if I eat too much, but that could be anything. I actually made basically the same post a few posts down. I am trying not to worry and assume everything is okay. I haven't gotten my period or bleeding in 2 weeks, so I assume I am pregnant

I was nursing my oldest dd through my twins pregnancy and was pretty sick so I'm not sure that is the case. If it were me I would take the HPT. It always gives me the answer I need one way or the other then again I have no patience and could never wait it out a day if I was worried. Sorry to hear that you're worried and I hope you get some peace about it soon.

When I was pg with Dd I was nursing my 1yo and I didn't know I was pg until 10wks. I noticed my milk seemed low, and started eating oatmeal and that would make me sick to my stomach. I thought that was weird but...

I had random periods from the time he was 2m. I would test some times when I didn't get a period and they were always negative, but suprise I stopped testing and I get pg lol.

I wouldn't worry, I'm sure I had symptoms that were there one day and gone the next and just didn't think anything of it. I also never got the breast pain like you usually get when pg. I did get the nursing adversions but not until I knew I was pg.

Hope this makes you feel better and everything is fine.

I can relate to every word you said! I couldn't believe the title of this thread when I saw it, because I thought it was just me feeling (or not!) this way. My last period was March 29, and I'm about 7 weeks along, at the most I think. Haven't seen my OB yet, but will call her soon.

I've been weaning my four year old dd for the past couple months, slowly and easily, and it was hurting too much, so we'd go a day or two without nursing, and now it's been two days and there won't be any nursing at bedtime tonight! I think we are pretty much done. It's been great. But I was thinking that I haven't had many symptoms either because of nursing her, but there's really no way to know for sure...

So at the beginning of May, I was all, Where the duce is my period?? So I took a HPT and it was negative. But my stomach was all big and bloated and totally not my usual stomach-self. I was like, I have been eating more... but not that much! Plus, any extra weight I ever get always goes to my thighs and bum, never my stomach. So, weird for me. I took another HPT at 5am on May 5 and it was positive! Two lines, baby. My stomach has still been big (and I had a full-on Buddha belly early on with dd1 also), and it is crazy 5-months-along-big after I eat.

But I haven't had many symptoms at all, except for being tired as shizz sometimes, and my tummy. And occasional cramps and spotting and my back aching. But not the usual sickness and scent-aversion, or whatever.

I don't remember when I started feeling MS with dd though, but it seems like it was by now. It's been too long, I don't know. Anyway, every day I wait for the sickness and smell thing to start! I feel like it'll show up anytime now.

I think that's all I have to say about that. I hope it helps a bit, and I hope your appointment is good.

ETA: Oh! And I've had to go to the bathroom every hour since I conceived, I swear. Whenever that was exactly, I have no clue.

There was a thread with this same question I think in the "I'm Pregnant" forum, the general consensus was nursing while pregnant DOES reduce symptoms. Might be worth searching for, it may have been in the December DDC too, but I am almost certain it was in the first one.

And I finally got a BFP, and am not worried any more.
Loss can happen at any time, but no longer worried that I am not "really" pg!
