I have just started seeing a Homeopathic Dr. and love the idea and results but find it to be expensive. Does anyone know if insurance ever helps out?

We see a Homeopathic Dr, who is also an MD, so our insurance covers him. It's the best of both worlds. Had to look around for him though. There are some out there!

I'm in Nashville. I was at Wild Oats one day and picked up a freebie magazine called Health and Wellness Magazine, and in it there is a listing of every type of alternative treatment you could think of. He had an ad for Preventitive family medicine, I went and spoke with him and that is where we go now. He's great because he isn't a pill pushing doc and practices homeopathic and alternative medicine, but we also have conventional medicine to fall back on if that is what is needed.

My homeopath is a D.O., she is an out of network provider, but my insurance does reinburse us 80%...Good enough for me considering the alternatives out there....
good luck in your search
