in the last weeks i'd have the customary 3-4 evening contractions when DS is nursing to sleep. the contractions would be all over the uterus.

today the contractions felt very low, more like AF cramping, and they lasted for about 1 hour after DS fell asleep. i kept telling myself that if i had another one, i'd get up and charge the batteries for the camera, just in case, but i didn't want to get up. they kept on coming, so i got up. the contractions stopped, of course.

i did prepare the "birth room," and left the batteries charging, just in case. and then i went to calculate my edd AGAIN (and freaked out when i kept entering LMP instead of conception date ) so i ovulated between july 12 and 14, and being very conservative, lets say 15th, i'm between 36w1d and 35w5d.

i'm comfortable with UC from 36 weeks. but what about 35w5d? well, i highly doubt that i'd have the baby tonight, but still. i'd like to be at least 36.5 weeks. DD was born at 41 weeks; DS at 39w5d. so this is really early for me.

with the first two, i never had any prelabour, though. when my contractions started, no matter how mild and irregular, they lead to active labour within 4-10 hours. but this time, though, i'm more affected by nursing, as it has been causing contractions throughout the pregnancy. DD did nurse when DS was born, but it never caused contractions, except for when i was clearly in labour.

oh, i drank some water, to make sure i wasn't dehydrated.

probably so. i had some on and off contractions today, but nothing more. this is very exciting, as this pregnancy is so different from the first two! i'm sure, though, i won't be so chirpy if this continues for another 5 weeks

i ordered some last minute herbs and more diapers, so i hope the baby stays in for another 10 days at least.
