Does this exist or can I do this?

I'm looking for a recipe for crab or shrimp bread. Not as an appetizer, but as a bread. I'm thinking something along the lines of a sourdough bread with chunks of seafood in it. Has anyone ever seen a recipe like this?

Well it sounds interesting! I've made bread with sausage before so I don't see why you couldn't. I make a no kneed type with potato, roasted garlic and cheese (not all together lol). I don't see why you couldn't try it

Adding quickly, I don't have much time right now....the reason I think a no kneed fashion would work best because then you're crab or shrimp( i think shrimp would hold up better) doesn't just get mashed around. I don't make true sourdough right now, but I do either make large amounts of dough (like 2 weeks worth) to keep in the fridge, or start one or two loaves the day before so they can sit out several hours, then go in the fridge overnight, then next day take out, shape and fresh for dinner. iF that made sense lol
I hadn't thought of a no-knead for it! That's a great idea! I was wondering how I was going to manage not smushing it all up.
Maybe you can make a 'meal in a loaf' type of bread. Do your traditional bread recipe normally, up until the final rise. After punching it down, roll it out into a rectangle, fill with desired goodies, then fold in half, making sure to pinch the edges shut together. You can also slash through the top a little bit so that steam is released.
