Hello! DD is 9 months old and we are just starting to feed her solids (fruits and cereals) .....so we're used to breast milk diapers. But we've noticed that her urine is smelling stronger. Is that a normal thing as babies get older? Before this, we barely noticed an odor at all to her wet diapers.
Thanks!
Amy

as soon as you introduce something other then breastmilk to your baby it changes the GI tract and more bacteria enter and more stink both with pee and poo. Plus sometimes they tend to have more concentrated urine since the solids fill them up more and less nursing.

Yeah. Dd used to pee on me and I'd leave it and go out and never smell it at all- or she'd pee on me while we were out! Now she pees on me and I smell like horse pee all day. :LOL I have an extra pair of jeans in the car, just for pee pee accidents!
