last couple times i've gotten checked, doc said the baby is head down. but i find i'm getting kicks high on either side of my belly... mostly just depends on which side i'm lying on. As soon as I change sides he starts kicking on that side I'm on and I worry that I'm squeezing him or something. is that possible?

I've had a lot of "experienced" Moms tell me that if you lay in a position that baby doesn't like, he/she will kick, roll and move until they're comfortable. They're well-padded in there, so you're not squishing him.
He is telling you "Mom, roll over!"

My baby is always on the lower right. I can't sleep on that side or she'll spend the night kicking the mattress furiously.
I have a long thin placenta and I think I don't feel her kick upwards!

Remember... punching feels an awful lot like kicking!

This babe is going to have one heck of an arm! I'm dreading the "throwing things" stage later on!!! :loo
