Hey there,

The last couple of weeks, DS (8 weeks old) has been rubbing his face and sides of head in several ways:

* back and forth against me (when lying on my chest)
* w/ his fist in a regular, circular pattern

When he rubs his eyes, I get that he's tired but when he rubs the sides of his face vigorously w/ his fist, it worries me a little. He has patches of dry flaky skin there and the rubbing he's doing is making it worse. I'm just not sure which came 1st: the dry skin causing him to rub it or the rubbing has caused the dry skin?

Anyone else seen this before?

My guy used to rub his face when he was sleepy - he couldn't always get to his eyes

If you think the dry skin is allergy related - something through your milk - you could try an elimination diet for a bit and see if anything changes.
