My DD didn't for the longest time.....I think it's because she was trying to think up the silliest possible choice!

Her fave, need-to-have-it-all-the-time toy is her nasal aspirator. That's right.....a nasal aspirator. It goes with us everywhere. She barely ever lets it go. She even holds it in one hand or another while eating. Actually, this morning she started feeding it......one bite for you, 'spirator, one bite for me.

Please tell me about some silly lovey your LO has!

No silly lovies here yet. Though DD does seem to have an affinity for trying to chew on my shoes. She will go to pretty extreme lengths to get to a shoe if it is in the line of sight when she's on the floor. Perhaps that's somehow related to the fact that my second word as a child was "shoes".

Yes, mine has a blankie she has named "Dee Dee". It's a chamois blanket from PBK. If forced to, she can go without it as long as she has a substitute blanket. But if she's sick or someting she has to have it.

Years ago, my husband gave me a stuffed puppy because I wanted a dog, but we couldn't have one because we lived in an apartment. I still had the puppy (even though we now have two dogs) and gave it to my son. He LOVES it. He chews on its ears, tail, feet, etc. He sleeps with it when he naps, and gets mightily pissed off when we have to move it.

amelia has a stuffed froggy that croaks when you squeeze it....i think one of my mums friends got it for her, but for some reason she has started taking a liking to it although she is still too young to ask for it really (3 mos.). i was actually at dnd the other day and there was a little girl there a few months older than dd who was clutching the same frog....guess it is a popular item!
