Our dog ate two baby bunnies today in our back yard

they were so little they didn't even have their eyes open yet! our dog is a mutt, we think, and is about 3 years old. should we be worried about anything? our daughter is 17 months old, and they play together and swap "spit" and food and all sorts of yucky, but cute things. our dog is not on any meds at all right now. she was on sentinel, but we moved out of state, and our old vet wouldn't write us a prescription to buy it online unless we came back and got another heartworm test. should i not let them play together? maybe the bunnies were so little that they were too young to really have parasites or anything? maybe that is just wishful thinking. tia

i wouldn't worry about it. as long as he's not licking inside her mouth and she washes her hands after they play. the only thing my doc told me to keep my dd away from is doggy poo.
