That dollhouse is lovely.


My only caveat is that you might need one that's more elaborate down the road--one with more rooms, for instance. If you're okay with that, I'd say go for that one (I've been researching dollhouses a lot lately and that's one of the prettiest I've seen for a little kid).

There are also some nice Waldorf-style houses out there that would work for a younger and older child. Currently, there is an Amish-made, Waldorf dollhouse on ebay for $134, which is a great deal. They usually run $150 plus.

It's beautiful! I'm keeping my eye out for a dollhouse for my DD as well, maybe for next Christmas, and I really liked this one. Very simple and easy to play with, without proscribed "rooms" that dictate the play, which I liked...also I think I might be able to talk my dad into making it for her!
