My DD's birthday is tomorrow, and I'm thinking of asking her grandparents to get her a dollhouse. (Yes we're a little late in ordering!)

Any suggestions as to what to look for? Melissa & Doug? Ryans Room? Other suggestions? Obviously I'm not looking for anything delicate with my DD being so young still.

We bought this one for my soon-to-be stepdaughter's 4th birthday. It is really cool and well-made. It says out-of-stock here, but I know there are other retailers for this brand.

That's better than the one I was going to suggest (and I like the Melissa and Doug too) and I don't know about your 3yo, but I took most of the furniture out (to save for later) and she actually plays with it more.
