Domain name and hosting services?

For domain name, I use www.GoDaddy.com It's very inexpensive and they have good customer service, like remining you to renew before it expires. I recommend getting a few years to start so that you don't have to worry about it for a while. It's amazing how fast the first couple of years fly by.

For hosting, I LOVE www.ImageLinkUSA.com They have great customer service, a really user friendly control panel, unlimited email addys, and guarantee 99.9% uptime. They also have these great "midnight madness" specials everyday, I got 400 mgs for $99 a year and my own static IP address for an extra $3 a month. The specials change every day, so you just have to check in to see what deal they have. If you do use them, sign up for the newsletter, you get tips and info on how to set up everything.
