become your big fork and spoon."

Anyone else watch Everybody Loves Raymond, and do you have any examples like last night's show?

We have done the same with a suitcase, minus the cheese, and I totally do this with his laundry all the time.

*My apologies to those who have no clue what I'm talking about*

That's funny, my dh mentioned that episode last night. We saw the episode weeks ago - gotta love summer re-runs.

Anyway, I notice the cheese suitcase all the time around our house i.e. dishes don't get done, laundry is brought upstairs but left outside the cupboard - propped precariously on the banister which to me seems it would take more effort than actually putting them in the cupboard. :

I read an article a while ago that the distribution of labour i.e. who does more or who feels like they do more around the house is the most common argument of couples. The suggestion was find a way to share the load through positive communication or do it together or just do it yourself.

When we argue about it, dh most often says he doesn't feel appreciated for all that he does and he thinks he does a lot too. To be honest he does. I'm lucky, but still there are times the suitcase hangs around till the cheese stinks.

P.S. Did you see the episode about PMS where she explains that all she needs is a hug then he tries to hug her and it's the wrong time? I swear these are the only two episodes I have seen, but they are both so funny.

We didn't watch the show until last year, my brother told me how funny it was, and I checked it out, and we've been hooked ever since. The Barrone's are so much like my dh's family that it is not even funny.

I refuse to put dh's laundry away. I will wash it, fold it, put it on top of his dresser, but I will not put it away. When we have company coming I clean everything, except his dresser. I once tried to let the sink get filthy from his shaving cream, hoping he'd take notice and start washing it out, he never noticed/cared, so I went back to doing it. His laundry is my cheese-smelly suitacse though, I won't take the fork and spoon down!
