Yesterday, dd and I spent some time with my sister and one of her friends. The friend has not been around children often and clearly felt awkward interacting with my highly conversational two year old. At one point, the friend asked dd the color of a little teddy bear she had, and dd said, "Red, of course." The friend then asked, "Do you know the color of a duckie?" and dd replied, "Yellow. Do YOU know the color of a frog?" The friend said, "Green," and dd responded, "You're right! Very good. Can you tell me the color of a zebra?" My sister and I were cracking up. My sis said to her friend, "I told you she knows everything. I think she's testing you to see if you're as smart as she is." Very funny...guess you had to be there.
