So I doubled the prefolds on the baby tonight as I am tired of changing diapers in the middle of the night. But as he's nursing on his side here - his top leg is almost sticking straight up, his legs are so far apart! It looks hilarious! But I do wonder if it is bothersome to him - any thoughts? I'd go by how he acts, except I made the mistake of eating cheese over the weekend and he's super-fussy anyways, so it's really hard to tell. Has anyone ever noticed thier DC bothered by too much diaper?

That's so funny b/c I was just getting ready to post the same type of question. I just recently started doubling up on prefolds at night and noticed the same thing. I will be watching for replies.

what size prefolds I often liked trifolding one size smaller down the middle as a doubler so like if I was using a premium I'd trifold an infant if using an infant trifold a premium I also folded flats into dublers and used those.

Subliime - that is funny! <Twilight Zone music>

As for what I used - I used two premium CPF. Those are all I have. I suppose an infant one would be good too though - I have one on order to try as an insert in a happy hempy for nighttime so we'll see how that works.

Also, using an Aristocrat cover.

He's sleeping now (on his tummy... no comment) and doesn't seem disturbed. We'll see how the night goes.

I doubt that sleeping that way would be comfy and I was going to say that he will probably find a more comfy position. Sounds like problem solved

i use an infant size as a doubler at night.....but i think ds is a bit more comfy if I lay the doubler on the outside of the snappied premium, rather than the inside. but maybe it is my imagination, lol.

My ds never seemed to mind, I think if they do mind they will tell you. As long as the baby is falling alseep there is a good chance that their fine.

We trifold the second one inside the regular one. DS's legs squish the whole setup pretty soon anyway. He'd totally tell me if he hated it.

Ditto for Aristocrats cover for night! Yaaay
