Doula certification with DONA?

Is it really worth all the money? I mean is there any other organization anyway?

Sure, there are many other organizations. They all cost $$$.
Only you can decide if getting certified is right for you.

It is not necessary to be certified to work as a doula!

I believe that you can "cross train" between some CAPPA and DONA courses as well.
I went with DONA because I wanted a hands on training, and it was the only one in my area. I chose not to certify for reasons of my own.

BUT the weekend workshop was well worth the money, although DONA would not have been my first choice.

Is it worth the money to certify? That is what you really have to decide, everyones thoughts on that will be different
