Ds will finally get to see the naturopath on Tuseday. I'm really excited and I hope everything goes well. With any luck we will finaly know what has been going on with him for the last 5 months, and hopefully how to fix it. I will also finaly know if vacs caused it. Although I am already pretty sure they did. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for us that we will finally have some sort of resolution for this. A big thank you to Amnesiac for suggesting the Dr.

I will update as soon as I can after the appointment.

The Dr. appointment was great. It looks like Ds is going to make a full recovery. Dr. said Ds had a bad reaction to Hep B and MMR. Says it has led to an inflamation of the tissues around Ds's brain. But Dr. gave us drops to use on Ds that he believes will help heal the reactions. So within the next few weeks Ds should start talking again. Dr. thinks the reactions are also affecting Ds's skin and intestines, but these drops should help that as well. If not we can treat for yeast after this problem is solved. He also said it should help Ds cope better with his environment so he will go back to being the sweet loveable little guy he always was. Not a minute to soon either. He has gotten so agressive with other children lately that I am afraid to take him places. But soon he should be back to normal. He will have a little catching up to do, but really since he is only two he isn't that far behind. He is enrolled in an early childhood intervention program that should help him pick words back up really quickly. I am so excited that I will finaly have my little boy back.

Thank you all for the great information and all the kind thoughts. And I can't thank amnesiac enough for suggesting the Dr. He is absolutely brilliant. He related really well with Ds and way layed all of Dh's fears. This has been a really great day.

I am so glad it went well! I've been thinking about you & wondering. He can kinda wierd some people out so I hoped that wouldn't be the case. I hope you begin to see results quickly. And I would anticipate having to address fixing his belly flora. What's the name of your drops, by the way?

One of the drops is calle Vacci-Chord, that one is supposed to treat the effects of the vaccines. THe other is Antitox Gentle Drainage, which is supposed to help his body flush the toxins that the other one stirs loose. We finally got ahold of the insurance and they aren't going to pay. Although the Dr did give us a reciept to send to them to see if they will at least put it towards our deductible. If we need to go again and I can convince Ds's pediatrician to write a refferal they will pay all but the copay. The hard part will be convincing the pediatrician that a naturopath can treat Ds's problems. Oh well the Dr said he didn't see any reason he would need to see Ds more than maybe once again. We started the drops this morning. Ds thought it was a little weird that I was rubbing these drops around his belly button but he didn't seem to mind too much. Dr said we could start seeing results in as little as a week. I am really excited and very hopeful. This has really helped take alot of stress off of me. The Dr is also putting my intouch with his daughter who is a midwife to see if she can help me figure a way around Vit K and eye drops with Babe #2. I feel better already.

Thank you all so much for all of the kind words. I will keep everyone updated on how things are going. I may still need some help treating his yeast problem, although the Dr seems to think it will clear up when the measels clears out of his intestines.
