WOW! We just had the most amazing night. DD slept from 10 pm to 5 am then again till 8:30 !! Not only that, but she woke up DRY!! (a first, she's ususally SOPPING wet in the a.m) we stuck her on the pot and she peed a gigantuum pee. Wow! I attribute it to the fact that we decided to try swaddling her again (with the miracle blanket... true to it's name) after stopping for a while thinking she was getting too old (shes 4 months). We are swaddling that kid from now on, I'll tell you what! Maybe we'll get to do night time ec at some point after all

oh, I have great things about swaddling, but didn't even think about the pee issue. That is sure something to file away.

But watch out for night weaning

My daughter has a tendency to sleep a long time in the night, too - 5 to 7 hours, sometimes. It's great for me getting things done, or just sleeping, but I worry that my milk supply is somewhat reduced, leading to less for her, and a sooner return of fertility.

since the main bf problem we've been having is foremilk/hindmilk imbalance, a little decrease in supply would be most welcome.
