so..., I put out my melons (13 of them) and they all have true leaves now, but of course they are still babies. My plan is to dryfarm them, but I am not sure how to do that. My gardening book says , don't water them (doh), but it seems they are too small to make it without water at this point. when do i stop,and then do I phase it out? Where I live, there are no rains until November, so it will truly be no water coming from above. Anyone know?
