It does sound like heartburn. Is it worse when he lays down? Does he wake frequently at night? If not, maybe something has irritated his esophagus and it hurts when the food goes down. Has he swallowed a large lump of something recently, like a whole vitamin?
DS complaining of stomachache
DS is 3 1/2. Recently he started complaining of stomachaches when he eats or drinks something (the pain is in his chest not stomach). Not all the time but it is pretty frequent. We have a history of acid reflux and ulcers in my family.
