DS is only just 2, so he didn't know what he was doing, really, but OMG!!!

DD was nursing on my lap (duh, I guess

) and DS races up from nowhere swinging his little kid lacrosse stick and whacks it right into my lap! hit me pretty good, thank goodness my wrist broke his swing or DD would have gotten smacked worse than she already did.

Now my sweet tiny babe (1 mo) has a bruise and a little bump on her orehead...

: I can't wait until DS chills out a little. The lacrosse stick went into full-day timeout, btw. Sigh.

Any kind of sticks, even "little kid" type sticks are a bad idea w/ a 2 yo. They have no idea how much damage they can do.

When my ds was 2 he & the kid down the street had little kid hockey sticks, my ds gave the other kid a wack near the eye, not meaning too of course.

Yeah, it's actually his brother's stick, but bro hates sports. So spots fan Yossi claimed it and actually is pretty good, for a 2yo. He just gets off-topic sometimes, lets say.
