This is shameless bragging, I know.

I've never been to this section of the boards before, but I'm guessing this is the right area for this topic.

DS is 7 mos old and very regular. We've been CDing from the start, and every morning he poops at exactly the same time - immediately after I change his diaper first thing in the A.M. So I thought, what the heck, might as well put him on the potty every morning. And it's been two days in a row and he's pooped after about 10 seconds on the pot. Then he claps his hands and laughs! :LOL I love it!

Never thought I'd be so excited about poop! :LOL

I'm such a dork. Hope it's okay to brag here.

thats great!! my dd does the same. she won't poop in her diaper either.. she usually go twice everyday late morning and late afternoon or before bedtime.. same routine.. put her on the little potty and she'll go! She'll look very reliefed afterward very happy to go there.. woohoo enjoy Ecing.. thats one of the few reasons I decided to do Ecing when she likes to poop in the potty and also sleep through the night dry! naked without diapers on.

Wow.

Well, we're on day three and I am yet to change a poopy diaper! Yesterday he peed on the potty, too. But mostly he just pees all over the bathroom. How do I keep the, ahem, "firehose" under control?

This must be easier with girls... :LOL

That's awesome! This is my first time to this area of the boards too. I ec'd part time with my first and now she is using the potty almost all the time on her own at 25 mo. My friends think I'm pushing her, but I'm totally not. They just don't believe that a 25 mo. old would go to the potty on her own.

Anyway, my dd2 has never been quite as regular as my older dd was so I never got around to trying with her until yesterday. She poo'd and peed on the potty both yesterday and today! On the very first try!!! Yesterday she only pooped the once, but normally, lately anyway, she's been pooping like 10 times a day, so I'm not sure how well we'll do, but I'm excited anyway!

As for boys, I am new at this too. I am getting peed on regularly and I have never cleaned the bathroom so much. I have no advice, only empathy hee hee.
